Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi, has officially confirmed that the Redmi Turbo 4 China launch will happen on January 2, 2025. As the latest addition to the Turbo series, the mid-range smartphone promises advanced features and high performance.
Design and build
Xiaomi claims that the Redmi Turbo 4 has a sleek design with a subtly bent frame for a high-level grip. The back body consists of frosted soft fog glass, which is well complimented by the presence of a red waistline and diamond double stitch texture.
Moreover, the whirlwind double-ring lights enhance it even more with its very futuristic look. It flaunts a plastic frame for giving lightweight durability. Redmi has also unveiled the first images of the device, showcasing the sleek Cloud White color variant
Powerful performance
The Redmi Turbo 4 will be the first to mark its debut with the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor. Recent scores from benchmark leaks have given great results, which shows that the phone can handle stress at smooth performance. Furthermore, the device will be shipping with HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15 with 16GB of RAM as the top configuration.
Gaming and efficiency
Xiaomi claims the Redmi Turbo 4 will deliver performance on par with a flagship to handle demanding games, including FPS and MOBA titles. The device ensures steady frame rates even through extended sessions of gameplay.
Display and camera
Reports suggest the Redmi Turbo 4 will feature a 1.5K 120Hz LTPS flat display. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.5 aperture for capturing detailed shots. In addition, a secondary ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture is also expected.
Durability and battery
The Redmi Turbo 4 is rumored to come with IP68 ratings. Additionally, the optical fingerprint scanner for safe unlocking of the device is also speculated in this series. It would feature a 6500mAh battery that can include support for 90W fast charging.
