Apparently, leakster Ice Universe has compared that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11 series will not have a waterfall screen design. This comes after the South Korean giant evaluating it for a bit only to cancel it out although the device will act as a camera beast taking the capabilities of its predecessor to the next level.
Yes, according to the folks at XDA Developers, the Samsung Galaxy S11 series will pack in a lot of beef including support to 8K video recording to 108MP camera sensors and will instill new camera modes and much more taking mobile photography to the next level.
Per a report, Samsung Galaxy S11 series will support up to 8K of a video recording which isn’t new as Galaxy S10 and Note10 series both supported it although the feature was suppressed as Snapdragon 855 didn’t have it while Samsung’s in-house Exynos 982x that made it to the 2019 flagship Samsung smartphones did support it. Apart from that, Samsung Galaxy S11 series will have a greater 108MP sensor as per the reference found in the Samsung camera app on One UI 2.0 beta 4 which gives a lot of details on the upcoming flagship device.
Although the camera will perform at its optimum 108MP capability during the day, it will switch to a 27MP sensor using pixel-binning technology allowing more light to incidence and grab the best-in-class low light photography. The thing is, we have already seen phones with 108MP sensors and truth be told, neither have the excellent low-light capability but Samsung is surely gonna make that leap as always.
There’s actually a lot more to discuss such as Galaxy S11 series will bring Director’s View mode on-board. This mode allows users to focus on a particular subject and since the phone will shoot videos with different lenses, users can switch between lenses at their will.
Per GSMArena, the next we mode we know about is the Night Hyperlapse mode which will probably bring night mode and hyper-lapse capabilities together allowing users to capture mind-boggling hyperlapse videos at definite seconds intervals even in low-light which is a great feature as well.
Proceeding further, there is a mode called Single Take Photo which appears to allow users to take photos by panning the phone for 15 seconds to create a sort of collection while the Vertical Panoramas will allow users to grab excellent panoramic photos vertically such as of a skyscraper for a tall bridge and so on. That’s not all as we are left with a feature called Custom Filters that will enable users to choose filters from existing photos in the gallery to create something new.
We are still a few weeks away from Samsung Galaxy S11 series launch but this hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from churning out speculations and whatnot. It is undoubtedly that Galaxy S11 series will bring a lot of new features on the table alongside narrower bezels around the edges which is enticing to see since you will be paying a hefty amount to get your hands on this flagship smartphones.
