- The Samsung Galaxy S26 dummy leak shows all three models with the S26 Edge standing out for its new rectangular camera island.
- The Galaxy S26 Pro and Ultra stick closer to the previous design with vertically stacked triple cameras in a compact housing.
- Samsung is expected to officially reveal the S26 series in February 2025, continuing its usual Galaxy S-series launch timeline.
The first Samsung Galaxy S26 dummy units have already leaked online, giving us an early look at what the company might be planning for its next flagship phones. The images were shared by tipster Sonny Dickson, who has a reliable history of revealing accurate smartphone prototypes. These dummy models provide an early preview of the potential design direction for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series.
Samsung Galaxy S26 dummy models show refreshed design
The leaked dummies show three models side by side. From left to right, there is the Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Out of the three, the S26 Edge is the one that stands out. It now carries a rectangular camera island, which is very different from the S25 Edge that only had a small bump for its two cameras.
This new look is something that feels fresh and a bit similar to what is expected on the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro models. If the leak is right, Samsung could be trying a design that may influence the market next year.
The Galaxy S26 Pro and S26 Ultra on the other hand look a bit more familiar. Both seem to continue the S25 Edge style, with three cameras stacked vertically in a smaller camera island. So Samsung is not changing everything, just adjusting the lineup slightly.
Launch details
The leak also suggests that the Galaxy S26 series is planned for February 2025. That is the same time frame Samsung followed for the Galaxy S25 series, so it looks like the company is keeping its usual schedule.
That said, the Galaxy S26 series dummy leak does not confirm every detail, but it does give a decent picture of what to expect. The S26 Edge is clearly the model with the biggest change because of its new rectangular camera setup. While the Pro and Ultra keep things more simple, carrying over the design language we already saw before. As usual, Samsung is expected to make everything official in February next year.
