Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has been benchmarked with a new MediaTek chipset, if that’s finalized then the tablet is going to deliver even better performance than its predecessor. Recently, the rumors were spread that a new family of Samsung Galaxy tablets were in development at the latest Unpacked event. However, there were no new tablets sowed introduction because Samsung focused on 2024 foldable phones, Watch 7 series, Galaxy Ring, and Buds 3 series.

Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra renders and expected launch

Futuristic addition to the Galaxy Tab S10 series could therefore be anticipated early in next year 2025 together with the Galaxy S25 series. While Samsung is unlikely to alter its design of its new first-themed Galaxy S10 Ultra tablet, big improvements are expected in processing with the firm’s potential switch to MediaTek system chip.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has surfaced in the Geekbench performance test, powered by a 4nm MediaTek chipset. This follows what the current Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, supported by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor as well, being a 4nm chip, is but enrolled in a previous production method.

In Geekbench tests, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra’s alleged MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor achieved 2,141 points in the single-core score and 5,533 points in the multicore test. These results are slightly better than those of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.

Engineering prototype and potential improvements

It is important to note that these benchmarks likely reflect an engineering prototype of Samsung’s upcoming 14.6-inch slate, which features a fast and high-resolution OLED display. By the time the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is officially released, its performance in benchmarks may improve even further. Additionally, MediaTek processors tend to be more cost-effective than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipsets, which could result in a more competitive price point for the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.
