Galaxy A51s Spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 765G and 6GB RAM

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy A71 5G earlier this year. Both phones are fueled by the Exynos 980 chipset. Last week, Samsung introduced the Galaxy A71 5G. The handset arrived with Snapdragon 765G, rather than Exynos 980. Before the launch, a Verizon variant of the Galaxy A51s 5G with model number SM-A716V has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform.

Samsung is seemingly performing on ‘s’ level upgrade of the Galaxy A51, which was launched earlier this year. The Samsung Galaxy A51s, which was previously spotted on NFC Forum and Wi-Fi alliance, has allegedly surfaced on Geekbench bearing the model number SM-A516V before the launch.

The listing has revealed key specifications and Geekbench many the handset. The upcoming mid-range Samsung Galaxy A51s will reportedly ship with octa-core 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm chipset codenamed as ‘lito’, which is rumored to be the successor to Snapdragon 765-series SoC. The handset is predicted to return with 5G connectivity and a minimum of 6GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the Galaxy A51s will boot Android 10 out of the box. The phone’s Geekbench scores include 622 points within the single-core test and 1,928 points within the multi-core test. The Wi-Fi Alliance and NFC certification, on the opposite hand, has confirmed that the A51s will feature dual-band Wi-Fi ac and NFC connectivity. That’s all the knowledge the certifications have revealed so far!

The Samsung Galaxy A51s will presumably be an iterative upgrade to the regular A51 smartphone, which rocks a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display and a couple of .3GHz octa-core Exynos 9611 processor. there’s a 5G version of the handset also, which is powered Exynos 980 chipset. The SoCs are paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which is further expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card. The Samsung Galaxy A51 runs on Android 10 with One UI 2.0 on top.

In the camera department, the handset comes with a quad-camera setup that has a 48MP main camera, a 5MP macro lens, a 12MP fisheye lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. The phone also gets a 32MP selfie camera housed within the punch-hole cutout. The device houses a 3,900mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging. The handset measures 158.5mm×73.6mm×7.9mm and weigh 172 grams.
