It hasn’t been even a week since Samsung launched its latest S series flagship, the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. The world doesn’t wait and neither do the leaks. A Galaxy Note 9 leak has already popped up on the internet in a shape of a benchmark test. The leak come from the online HTML5 test site where the handset scored 522 points out of 555 suggesting that the alleged Galaxy Note 9 will be a power-packed device.

In comparison, the recently announced Galaxy S9 scored 517 points in a similar test. The leak shows a model number SM-N960U while a Galaxy Note 8 variant available in the U.S. comes with the model number SM-N950U, making us believe that the leaked device is indeed a successor to the last year’s Note model. According to industry pundits, the Galaxy Note 9 will most probably get a design overhaul and we hope to see something new and ‘reimagined’.

The phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor and will most probably come with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio screen like all of the Galaxy devices with Infinity Displays had. The listing shows the display will have a resolution of 412 x 846, and the device will surely sport a higher resolution display. It’s too early to point out at anything but rest assured there should be more information available later on.

There have been some rumours about the Galaxy Note 9 housing an in-display fingerprint sensor but as of now the reports do not show us anything and most probably the South Korean company will go with a scanner placed at the rear alongside the camera setup.
