Samsung is planning to unveil the Galaxy Note 20 series during the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5. By this time now, we already know what the South Korean tech giant is hiding under its sleeve with the Galaxy Note 20 series of smartphones. Last week, the images of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in “Mystic Bronze” colorway were accidentally revealed by Samsung Russia, and now, less than a month before the launch, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has been captured in live images by a reliable leaker.

The hands-on images of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra come from a reliable Samsung leaker and YouTuber Jimmy is Promo, who has uploaded the images of the device from different angles. The color of the device here is black which does have that glossy finish, which is not the case with the previously leaked image of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in Mystic Bronze. So, we can expect the Galaxy Note 20 devices to come in three or four color variants. We can also expect them to arrive in both glossy and matte finishes. By looking at the images above one can clearly understand that the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will have a slightly curved display and a center placed punch-hole camera notch.

We also get to see the triple rear camera setup on the back of the device with a huge camera block and the cameras stacked vertically. The flash is placed just beside the primary camera and we can also see the vertical cutout under the flash which could be the laser assist autofocus. Also, the third camera (from top to bottom) is a periscope sensor. But it doesn’t have that “100X Space Zoom” branding which was found on the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
Note users, don't get use to the S Pen location. It'll move to the other side. So will the speaker. Both now Left of the Charge Port. #Note20 #GalaxyNote20Ultra

Jimmy also added that the S Pen and the speaker will be found towards the left of the USB Type-C port. Now, this perfectly goes with the decision of placing the volume and power keys on the right side, considering that the Note 10 and Note 10+ had the power and volume keys on the left side of the device.

Also, the Galaxy Note 20+ passed through FCC with a model number SM-N986U. The same model number got certified by Bluetooth SIG and passed through GeekBench. The FCC ID of Galaxy Note 20+ is ALSMN986U. Leaving the story behind, according to the previous leaks, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra features a 6.9-inch WQHD+ LTPO screen with a 120Hz display refresh rate. The device is expected to arrive with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC or Exynos 992, like every time, Samsung is still expected to play the region game as far as the SoC’s are concerned. The device is expected to back by a 4,500 mAh battery and comes with 45W fast charging. As mentioned earlier, the device is expected to launch on August 5 during the Galaxy Unpacked event, alongside the Galaxy Fold 2, Galaxy Flip 5G, Galaxy Tab S7 series, and Galaxy Watch 3.
