After making a splash in the Philippines, Tecno’s latest smartphone is here in India. The Tecno Pova 2 has now arrived in India as an Amazon Specials priced at Rs 10,499/- for its base 4GB+64GB variant. The higher 6GB+128GB variant goes up for sale at Rs 12,499/- after a Rs 500/- discount on the final pricing. The smartphone will go on sale on August 5 in Silver, Blue, and Black color variants.
The Indian variant of Tecno Pova 2 brings everything the Philippines version had. This includes a hefty 6.9-inch IPS LCD FHD+ 60Hz display boasting 480 nits of typical brightness. The device runs on Android 11-powered HiOS 7.6 out-of-the-box.
Moving further, there’s a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC under the hood clocked at a max 2.0GHz and with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The storage maxes at 128GB (top variant) although the device arrives with a microSD card slot for storage expandability.
The device packs in an 8MP selfie shooter housed in a punch-hole cut-out while the rear quad-camera assembly packs in a 48MP shooter with 2MP macro, 2MP depth, and a 2MP depth sensor (yes, there are two depth sensors).
Tecno Pova 2 supports dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0 with A2DP and LE, GPS (BDS, Galileo, and A-GPS systems) as well as NFC. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the device.
One of its biggest USPs is the 7,000 mAh Li-PO battery under the hood supplied with an 18W fast charging speed. Check out Tecno Pova 2 on Amazon right now.
