Use Android Pay even if your Bank doesn’t support it yet
Android Pay still isn’t supported by every bank. If you want to use it, you may want to have a look at this article all about Android Pay.
Android Pay seems to be a great service, although maybe not everyone can even give it a try as smaller banks still need to add support for Google’s new payment service. If you’re in that boat, fear not! There’s a solution for your problem, and it’ll make you use your old and forgotten card to good use.
A few years ago Google started handing out physical Google Wallet cards to anyone who wanted to have one. They’re still available through this link. If you happen to own one of those cards, and you’re looking for a way to use Google’s payment service, you could actually link your Google Wallet card to Android Pay.
If you’re looking to add your card to Android Pay, there’s only one thing you need to do right now, press the “add new card” button in the Android Pay app, after that select “add a credit or debit card”, click on “add manually.” After that just enter all the needed information in the form and you’ll be set to go. Of course we can understand that this isn’t the most convenient way to pay with your mobile device, but it’s a decent solution to use Android Pay until your bank adds support for this service.
Are you planning using this method until your bank adds support for this service? Please, let us know in the comment section. Also, do let us know it works for you! Thank you for visiting True-Tech, the source for all things, tech!
