Vivo V30 Series with ZEISS Optics Launching Soon in India

The Chinese smartphone giant, Vivo has announced the arrival of its next-gen Vivo V30 series. In the global regions, the Vivo V30 series includes three models: Vivo V30 Lite, Vivo V30, and Vivo V30 Pro. However, for the Indian region, only Vivo V30 and V30 Pro are announced. Cut to now, both devices are en route to launch in India as confirmed officially by Vivo. The V30 series will be the first mid-range devices to debut co-engineered with ZEISS optics developed for India.

Vivo V30 and V30 Pro join forces With ZEISS Optics

The folks at MySmartPrice exclusively confirmed Vivo V30 Series will pick up a triple rear camera setup co-branded and co-engineered by ZEISS optics. Of course, Vivo X ZEISS isn’t anything new, however, Vivo usually reserves it for ultra flagship devices.

With the V30 series launching in India soon, the ZEISS optics will bring amazing camera performance to the device. It includes but is not limited to Distagon style bokeh, cinematic style bokeh, biotar style bokeh, and sonar style bokeh among others as confirmed by Vivo V30’s microsite. So, get ready to witness professional portraits with the V30 series.

Vivo V30 Series Specifications

We already have seen Vivo V30 Series in the global market and the Indian variant will be similar except for the upgraded ZEISS partnership which is marketed for India.

Talking about its specs, the Vivo V30 is expected to bring onboard a 6.78” AMOLED 1260p display with a peak of 2,800 nits of brightness. The device is likely to be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC plus 12GB of RAM and Android 14-flavored FuntouchOS 14 out-of-the-box.

When it comes to the cameras, Vivo V30 uses a 50MP primary OmniVision OV50E sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide cam, and a portrait sensor completing its triple rear cam setup. On the front, we have a 50MP shooter with autofocus. Finally, the battery consists of a 5,000mAh capacity plus an 80W fast charging tech onboard.

Punching upwards is the Vivo V30 Pro with Dimensity 8200 SoC under the hood. It is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. It uses the same 6.78” 1260p panel as Vivo V30 except for the aforementioned chipset.

On the optics front, we have an all-three 50MP shooter that includes a primary cam with OIS, a 2x telephoto, and an ultrawide snapper. The front sees a major upgrade at a 50MP shooter compared to the vanilla V30. Both V30 and V30 Pro share the battery specs as aforementioned.
