Vivo V60 series is spreading like branches on a tree. With that, Vivo has just added a new smartphone in the line dubbed as Vivo X60t Pro+. It is a variant similar to X60 Pro+ although with just a single change under its telephoto sensor.

According to the specs sheet, the Vivo X60 Pro+ sports a 32MP telephoto sensor, however, with the latest Vivo X60t Pro+, the Chinese smartphone maker has swapped the giant telephoto sensor under 50mm lens from 32MP to 12MP with a 50mm telephoto lens on top of it. It is speculated that Vivo is using Sony IMX663 sensor with a 1/2.93” sensor size with 1.22micron pixel size for the 12MP telephoto sensor onboard the device. The aperture has also changed from f/2.08 in the previous variant to f/1.98 in X06t Pro+.

The small change has also resulted in a reduced price tag on the device. It is now available at CNY 4,500 instead of CNY 5,000 which is a discount of $78 (in USD).

About the Vivo X60t Pro+ specifications, the rest of everything remains almost the same. The device still has a larger 6.56-inch Super AMOLED 120Hz HDR10+ display with a 1080×2376 pixels resolution. There’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC under the hood tagged with an Adreno 660 GPU, 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and up to 12GB of RAM.

The device has a quad-camera setup with a Zeiss lens on top. There’s a 50MP wide-angle camera with f/1.6, dual pixel PDAF, Laser AF, OIS; an 8MP periscope telephoto sensor with OIS, f/3.4 aperture, 125mm lens, 5x optical zoom; a 12MP telephoto sensor (as mentioned above); and finally, 48MP ultrawide snapper with 114-degree FoV with gimbal stabilization. There’s a 32MP front selfie shooter with f/2.5 aperture as well.

Going further, Vivo X60t Pro+ sports a 4,200 mAh Li-Po battery with 55W fast charging support. There’s an under-the-display fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth v5.2, Wi-Fi 6, dual-band GPS, and NFC on-board. The device runs on Android 11-powered OriginOS 1.0 out-of-the-box.

Vivo already has a “t” version of X60 where it swapped the processor under the hood from Snapdragon 870 SoC to Dimensity 1100 SoC. The X60t also had gimbal stabilization on the primary sensor that wasn’t available on the non-t version.
