Vivo is all set with its newly launched OriginOS and it is already running the open beta on half a dozen Vivo smartphones replacing FuntouchOS. Apparently, Vivo is also attuned towards FuntouchOS 11 which is based on Android 11 beta. According to the latest update, Vivo has released a roadmap for FuntouchOS 11 based on Android 11 beta, and here’s the roadmap.
Vivo V20 made its debut with stable Android 11-backed FuntouchOS 11 while the Vivo V20 Pro received the bump soon after its release.
According to the roadmap, Vivo X50 Pro is already running the Android 11-based FuntouchOS 11 beta which started in mid of December 2020. It will be followed by Vivo V19 and X50 that will get the upgrade by the end of January 2021. Next up, Vivo V17, Vivo V17Pro, Vivo V15 Pro, and S1 will get the upgrade starting from the end of March 2021.
Next up, it is Vivo S1 Pro, Vivo Z1x, and Z1Pro that will get the Android 11-based FuntouchOS 11 beta starting from the end of April 2021. Finally, we have Vivo V15 that will start intercepting Android 11-backed FuntouchOS 11 starting from the end of June 2021.
Note that Vivo has clearly mentioned that it will follow a batch-by-batch rollout method and thus, users will have to wait for a few days or weeks to get their hands on the Android 11 build once their respective device starts getting the update. Also, this Android 11-based FuntouchOS 11 beta version rollout roadmap is for the Indian variants and thus, Chinese and global versions will probably have a distinct rollout roadmap for the same.
