After the Vivo X60 series, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo is already gearing up for its next launch aka the Vivo X70 series. It consists of three core smartphones dubbed as Vivo X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro+ while there’s a Vivo X60t and X70t Pro which is likely to be announced later. Turns out a recent leak has given us a lot to discuss the Vivo X70 series specifications as posted by leakster Bald Panda on Weibo. The Vivo X70 Series is likely to launch next month at the earliest.
Vivo X70 Specifications
Vivo Y70 is the vanilla variant in the X70 series with a 6.56-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED Infinity-O display. The device has a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC under the hood although there’s a variant with Exynos 1080 SoC in the works as well. The device houses a triple rear camera setup housing a 40MP primary sensor, a 12MP, and a 13MP sensor.
Next up, the device houses a larger 4,400 mAh battery paired with 44W fast-charging tech under the hood. There’s an IR blaster on the device. Its dimensions are 158.5×73.4x8mm weighing 185 grams and it is available in three color variants – Aurora, White, and Black of which, the former has an AG Finish.
Vivo X70 Pro Specifications
The device sports the same specifications as the X70 w.r.t. The display, refresh rate, battery size, and charging speed. The processor and the camera setup are what make it different.
X70 Pro has an Exynos 1080 SoC under the hood. It houses a quad-camera setup at the back which includes a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP and 13MP sensors, and an 8MP periscope sensor with a 5x optical zoom lens.
Next up, the phone is slightly taller and wider but slimmer at 160.5×75.5×7.7mm and weighs 181 grams. You have three color variants with X70 Pro: Aurora, Black, and White.
Vivo X70 Pro+ Specifications
Vivo X70 Pro+ is the topmost variant in the X70 series likely to bring on-board a 6.78-inch curved LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2K resolution. According to the leaked specifications, the display has 10-but support. The device is likely to have a Snapdragon 888+ SoC under the hood along with a 4,500 mAh battery, 55W fast wired, and 50W wireless charging tech. Finally, X70 Pro+ is the only device in the series that will get an IP68 rating.
The camera setup on the Vivo X70 Pro+ is a quad-camera setup. This includes a 50MP Samsung GN1 snapper, a 48MP IMX568 snapper, 12MP (ultrawide), and an 8MP periscope sensor with 5x optical zoom capability. There’s a V1 Image Signal Processing Unit on-board as well.
Talking about the dimensions, this device is a bit taller, wider, and thicker than the X70 Pro at 165×75.5x9mm. Color options available with X70 Pro+ are Blue (Plain Leather), Orange (Vegan Leather), and Black (AG Finish).
