Reliance Jio, after revolutionizing the Indian telecom field, went on further to launch an effectively free 4G VoLTE feature phone. They even started shipping it. Despite the bad news that came out, the company’s is a customer-friendly gesture.

Once they started shipping the devices, many companies came out with their own 4G feature phones in collaboration with indigenous phone manufacturers. You might have already heard of Airtel’s Karbonn A40 and BSNL’s Bharat 1. The latest addition to the list is Bharat 2 from Vodafone and Micromax.

When you buy the phone, you will have to spend an initial payment of Rs. 2899. If you recharge for Rs. 150 per month during the first 18 months, you can make yourself eligible for the first cashback of Rs. 900. As you follow the same recharging procedure without decreasing the value for another 18 months, you will get the next installation of cashback that is Rs. 1000. In short, the effective price you will be spending is Rs. 999.

The Rs. 150 per month plan provides you with free voice calling and 4G data usage. The cashback amount will reach you via Vodafone M-Pesa wallet.

The specifications of the device are almost same as that of any other basic 4G feature phone out there.
