Huawei MateBook D 15 arrives in the UK with Intel Core i5 SoC at £750

After its launch in May in global markets, Huawei has launched MateBook D 15 in the UK with an Intel-powered chipset. Here’s more about the recent launch.

The Huawei MateBook D 15 in the UK arrives with an 11th generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 SoC under the hood which replaces the Ryzen 5 5500U or Ryzen 7 5700U chipsets that are available on the global variant of D 15. There’s an Intel Iris Xe GPU under the hood along with Huawei Shark Fin Fan that keeps the internals cool and breezy when subject to intensive workloads.

The ultrabook packs in a wide 15.9-inch IPS LCD panel with a 1920×1080 pixels resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It is a Huawei FullView Display with thin bezels and an 87 percent screen-to-body ratio. Huawei MateBook D 15 arrives with TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free and Low Blue Light Certification that helps reduce strain on the eyes making it a comfortable experience.

Moving on, the device gets an 8/16GB DDR4 dual-channel memory onboard along with 256/512GB NVMe PCIe SSD storage that users can pick up at the Huawei online story in the UK. The ultrabook arrives with Windows 10 Home edition pre-installed.

Huawei MateBook D 15 weighs 1.56kgs and it is made up of aluminum that keeps it both lightweight and gives it a premium feel. The battery pack mounted on D 15 is rated at 42 Wh and it also supports fast charging technology.

About the I/O ports, there’s a USB-C port, a USB 3.2 Gen1 port, and two USB 2.0 ports on-board along with a headphone port and an HDMI In on-board MateBook D 15. It supprots the latest Bluetooth v5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 as well. There’s a recessed 720p HD camera that enables video chats and recording with ease.

Talking about the pricing, the Huawei MateBook D 15 is available in the UK at £750 which is roughly $1040. With the ultrabook purchase, you get a backpack, a mouse, and a Bluetooth speaker free for purchases till August 8.
