  • Xiaomi 15 Series is launching on October 20 and we just got a glimpse on how it will look.
  • A prolific tipster shared back design of the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Pro using a polished back panel with triple cam setup.
  • Xiaomi 15 Series will be the first to host a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC under the hood before any other OEMs get it.

Waiting for the next flagship smartphone of the year? Well, the new Xiaomi 15 Pro is coming to China, and thanks to the fresh leaks from Kartikey and SmartPrix, we know its design will look like this.

The glossy glass back contrasts with the texture of the grooves on the predecessor, while the camera upgrade changes subtly. Now that the rumor mill has made a few intimations about the impending launch, let’s move deeper into what we already know.

Xiaomi 15 Pro Design Leaked Ahead of Launch

Tipster Kartikey showcased the back design of the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Pro across three colorways — White, Silver, and Black. Design-wise, Xiaomi 15 Pro looks awfully similar to Xiaomi 14 pro. Xiaomi has done away with the groves on the back panel and replaced it with a polished finish with a glass back that does refine its look and feel.

Look closely, and you’ll see differences in the camera island. The Xiaomi 14 Pro’s triple-cam setup housed in a squarish bump looked pretty small with a lot of empty space while the Xiaomi 15 Pro cams look pronounced taking almost the whole space. The LED flash has moved out of the camera bump and is located on the left side of the camera bump.

There will be a Xiaomi 15 Pro Special Titanium Edition as well mirroring the same from last year’s Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium edition.

Xiaomi 15 Pro Specifications (Expected)

Xiaomi 15 Pro belongs to the Xiaomi 15 Series launching on October 20. The series will be the first to host a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC just as the chipset arrives this month itself.

We have a 6.78” quad-curved AMOLED display made by TCL sporting a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2K resolution. The phone is packed with the latest Android OS plus support to get five major Android updates. Depending upon its pre-installed Android version, we should see support till Android 19 or 20.

There’s 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM as well. On the optics, we have a 50MP primary cam with a 1/1.3” sensor, a 50MP telephoto snapper with 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide snapper.

Interestingly, there are four camera slots with three cams which, although it shouldn’t make any difference, you are obviously paying a fortune, so I don’t think Xiaomi should be pulling such a stunt anyway. There’s a 32MP snapper at the front that you can use for regular calls, selfies, etc.

A beefy 6,000mAh battery takes care of your daily usage while the phone is reportedly supplied with a 90W wired (some say it is 120W) plus 80W wireless and 10W reversed wireless charging.
