Having a dual-layer OLED display translates into improved HDR performance and brightness when compared to the usual single-layer OLED panels used otherwise. It remains to be seen exactly how the upgrade will translate into real life, however, we will have to wait till Q1 2025 to get our hands on the Ultra. Vanilla Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro will take center stage this October right after Qualcomm launches the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC ultimately becoming the first device to host the flagship chipsets.

Apart from the display tech, tipster Smart Pikachu on Weibo listed 24GB of RAM on the colossal device. It is also required to be given the fact that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC will be able to do a lot more and having a higher RAM storage ensures all the tasks are carried out seamlessly.

Additionally, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will see a battery capability starting with the digit ‘6’. It isn’t surprising since we already heard about the Xiaomi 15 Ultra picking up a 6,000mAh battery in the previous leaks. It also suggests the phone will pick up a 90W wired and 80W wireless charging tech which is ‘HUGE’. It also belittles the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Series as it’s unlikely there would be any change in the battery or charging tech.

Note that these are leaks and thus, the actuals may differ. Do keep an eye on True-Tech to get updates on the Xiaomi 15 Series slated to launch in October this year followed by Xiaomi 15 Ultra in Q1 2025.
