Xiaomi will launch the Xiaomi Mi A2 and Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite in Spain on July 24, 2018. It is the successor to the first ever Xiaomi smartphone that was introduced under Google’s Android One program. Earlier, Xiaomi Mi A2 was touted to release, however, sources suggest that the Chinese brand will unveil the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite in Spain tomorrow on July 24, 2018.
Xiaomi Mi A2 (2018) Specifications
Xiaomi Mi A2 which is also known as Xiaomi Mi 6X was announced back in April 2018. It sports a 5.99-inch LTPS IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels with a 77.4 percent screen-to-body ratio with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Mi A2 works on MIUI 9.5 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo under Android One program which means, the users will be able to receive an update for Android P and future updates pretty quickly compared to other smartphones in the mid-range segment.
The device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset with Octa-core processor bundled with Adreno 512 and has a 64GB, 4/6GB RAM, and 128GB, 6GB RAM variant. About its optics, it sports a dual camera setup with 12+20MP featuring f/1.8, 1/2.9” and 1/2.8” sensor capable of shooting 720p, 1080p, and 2160p videos. The front camera is a stunning 20MP snapper with a 1.0µm, f/1.8, 1/2.8” sensor.

Announced in June 2018, Xiaomi launched it right after Mi A2 launch which sports a 5.84-inches IPS LCD screen with a 79.5 percent screen-to-body ratio and a 19:9 ratio. The device boasts a 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution with 432 ppi density which is comparatively greater than the standard variant.
Under the hood, it sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset with Octa-core at 2.0 GHz and an Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with a 32GB, 3GB RAM, and 32/64GB, 4GB RAM variant that can be further expanded to 256GB. About the camera, Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, also known as Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro sports a 12+5MP rear dual-camera setup with 1.25µm PDAF main snapper and 1.12µm depth sensor. The device can shoot videos at 1080p@30fps with a gyro-EIS sensor that snaps perfect videos at crystal clear resolution.

According to the sources, the Xiaomi Mi A2 (2018) with 32GB, 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 24,200 (RON 1,288 to 1,400); Mi A2 with 64GB, 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 24,600 to 27,600 (RON 1,424 to 1,600).
On the contrary, Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite with 32GB, 3GB RAm option is expected to have a price tag of Rs. 16,200 to 17,200 (RON 943 to 1,000). Similarly, the 64GB, 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 19,700 to 20,700 (RON 1,143 to 1,200).
