We are inching closer to Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series launch on October 28 and the Chinese OEM is teasing new features every day. The new feature that the Redmi Note 11 series will arrive with as of now is the 120W fast charging tech that will surely uplift the Redmi Note 11 series from its predecessors.
First-of-its-kind to arrive on a midrange smartphone series, Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series will have a 120W fast charging tech. This leaves Note 10 series 67W fast-charging tech in China and 33W tech on the global variants gasping for air. This particular information was leaked by a reputable tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo a few days ago.
Talking about the 120W fast charging tech, it should be able to charge a 4,000 mAh battery in less than 20 minutes which is way beyond what other smartphone makers have been able to bring on board. Note that a 120W fast charging tech from Xiaomi was rolled out with Xiaomi Mi 11T Pro as well, however, Note 11 series is among the midrange series and it will be the first in this price segment.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series comprises many models with Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus probably the top variant while the Note 11 will be a vanilla version. Two Geekbench listings were recently leaked giving a peek into two smartphones (probably) codenamed as Pissarro and Pissarropro.
The first listing is for a device with model number 21091116C with MT6877T SoC or Dimensity 920 SoC clocked at 2.5GHz frequency along with Mali-G68 GPU and it scored 3607 and 9255-points on single and multi-core tests on Geekbench. Another listing is for a device model number 21091116UC with 8GB RAM and MT6877T (same as another device mentioned earlier) but it scores 740 nad 2221 points on single-core and multi-core tests respectively.
According to My Smart Price, the Pissarro is likely the vanilla Note 11 while the Pissarropro is the Pro version with Dimensity 920 SoC on-board. The vanilla version is expected to arrive with Dimensity 810 SoC although the listing says otherwise.
