Xiaomi Pocophone F1 has launched in India a few days ago and now, it has gone global with Hong Kong, Indonesia, France marking the official event along with almost 59 other countries that will get ‘the speed they need’ without paying much.
Xiaomi tweeted the list of markets where Pocophone F1 will be launched and it covers almost every country in Europe, Asia and then, few countries in the Middle East and Africa and finally, four markets in Americas where the United States and Canada aren’t included since Pocophone F1 will not release in the U.S. as of now.
The smartphone was launched in India at a price tag of Rs. 20,999 while the price for other markets differs greatly. The smartphone has a 6.18” IPS LCD display with a pixel resolution of 1080 x 2246 and an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. It has an unspecified version of Corning Gorilla Glass. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo along with MIUI 9.6 with Poco customization that optimizes its performance further.
It sports an octa-core Snapdragon 845 chipset paired along with Adreno 630 GPU and a 64/128GB, 6GB RAM and 256GB, 8GB RAM variant available at varying price tags. The device has some of the coolest features taken from high-end smartphones squeeze in a smartphone that can be classified as a budget smartphone in terms of its price. It has a 12MP + 5MP rear camera setup with a 1.4micromer, f/1.9 dual pixel PDAF main sensor and a 1.12micrometer pixel size depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 secondary sensor paired up with 20MP, 0.9micrometer pixel size, and a f/2.0 aperture front camera.
