Remember Xiaomi Mi 8, the flagship smartphone from Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi? Well, the phone was a smash hit and being the league of flagship smartphones are reasonably less price than an actual flagship phone (say $1,000), Xiaomi Mi 8 set a number of benchmarks for the people who either love Xiaomi and those who love high-end specs without selling their kidneys figuratively. So, Xiaomi’s Mi 8 Youth or Mi 8 Lite which by moniker seems like a toned-down version of Mi 8 and indeed it is, is about to release its 4GB/128GB variant in China on November 16.
This is in reference to the poster released by Xiaomi touting the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite 4GB+128GB release date on 11.16 which is November 16. Apparently, three variants of Mi 8 Lite i.e. 4GB/64GB, 6GB/64GB, and 6GB/128GB have already launched in China this September and today, a new variant has been confirmed for Mi 8 Lite i.e. 4GB/128GB that will be launched altogether at the event on November 16.
We don’t know the price yet as Xiaomi hasn’t provided any clarification on it, however, we do know that the three already released variant has a price tag of 1,399 Yuan, 1,699 Yuan, and 1,999 Yuan. So, it is safe to assume that since the new variant feature 4GB/128GB configuration, it cost be priced at 1,799 Yuan or 1,899 Yuan or less.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a 6.26-inch IPS LCD display with 1080×2280 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The device features 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC with a max frequency of 2.2 GHz. It features a 12+5MP main and depth sensor at the back while the front module features a 24MP sensor.
It will have Quick Charge 3.0 along with 3,350 mAh Li-Po battery and will be available in Deep Space Gray, Dream Blue, and Twilight Gold based on the color variants available with the previously launched smartphones. Check out more details about the smartphone on November 16 at True-Tech.
