YouTube is currently facing a video upload issue that is messing up the video processing system. Reports are coming in to describe how videos are uploaded but remain stuck in some sort of limbo, complete with that “Upload complete” message that is leading to some particularly frustrating times as that progress bar just sits still.

But do not worry, the video platform is on it. The team is working hard on having the issue fixed, though they have not pegged a certain period for such a fix. Still, they have reassured the users that an update is about to be released.
TeamYouTube states via X that “quick update: the fix is rolling out to all users, and you should be able to upload videos in a few hours. If your video is stuck in processing, hold tight! it’s best not to delete and re-upload for now. thanks for your patience.
Meanwhile, keep on doing what you usually do: scroll and watch. This bug only affects uploading, but fret not; if all is good, the 500 hours of video content per minute that gets uploaded to YouTube is still there. Look out for an update from the platform, and in the meantime, keep yourself from clicking that upload button. When the fix lands, so too will your videos easily in your audience’s lap.
