We’re just a couple of hours away from the official unveiling of the upcoming flagship device of OnePlus. The launch event for OnePlus 6 will take place at the Dome, NSCI, Mumbai on May 17 starting at 6 PM local time. The global unveiling, on the other hand, will be held at London on May 16. Just when all the rumors were about to see its end, a tech publication accidentally leaked the real photos of the OnePlus 6. This leak is coming from a publication which goes by the name PhoneArena. We now have a number of images revealing the design of the smartphone. It seems like they accidentally leaked the images on the social media.
The leaked images show the OnePlus 6 in three different colors – Silk White, Midnight Black, and Mirror Black. As far as the design concern, we’re already aware of what it looks like thanks to the previous leak by Amazon Germany. There are a dual camera setup, a fingerprint sensor and a OnePlus branding at the back. As the naming tell, Mirror Black variant comes with a glass back.
OnePlus 6 leaked specifications and pricing
All the previous massive leaks leave nothing to our imagination. We have the live pictures thanks to PhoneArena, complete specifications and pricing. To recall, OnePlus 6 will feature a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a notch on the display. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, you’ll get a 16MP+20MP vertical rear cameras. Looking at the ongoing trend, the cameras might come with the AI capabilities. The device will run on the latest version of Android 8.1.1 Oreo. Other features include water and dust resistance and an even faster dash charging.
OnePlus 6 will come in three different storage variants – 6GB RAM paired with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB of onboard memory and 8GB plus 256GB internal storage. The smartphone will be priced at Rs. 36,999 for the 64GB variant and Rs. 39,999 for 128 GB variant as per the reliable sources.
