Every year the Mac computers are updated but there isn’t much to say about these updates, however, most of them are iterative since Apple doesn’t generally introduce any exciting feature with them. The MacBook Pro was last updated on June 7, at the WWDC 2017 event, where it received the faster Kaby Lake processors just months after the Touch Bar integrated MacBook Pro lineup was unveiled. Apple analysts are now expecting the new devices launching this year to pack Apple’s self-designed co-processors.
The MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and the iMac Pro have the T1 and the T2 chip respectively, where the T1 chip is focused mainly on the touch input while the T2 chip is focused on the security and power of the device.
It is more likely for Apple to pack in the new custom chips in all the three Mac devices which may be released in 2018. According to some reports, the three models of the MacBook is probably gonna be an update to the current selling devices and not a new entry.
Apple may not replace the Intel-designed CPUs for its Mac computers for now. It’s expected that Apple would extend the use of its custom co-processors so it can offer new features. It is likely for Apple to continue using the T-series chips in the upcoming MacBooks too.

According to some reports, the MacBook Air series may come to an end, which eventually means that Apple is working on a new product to the market, that could be a 13-inch entry-level laptop. Also, some rumours suggest that an iPad will be launched in the following months and it is more likely for it to include the Apple-designed graphics engine and AI chip which was included in the Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone X. Meanwhile, there has been some leaks about the much awaited iPhone X Plus and the mid-range iPhone.
