Smartphone manufacturers acquire certifications in different regions before putting forth with the sales. Reportedly, Apple has registered the upcoming 2019 iPhones with the Russia-based Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). The report further adds that there are at least 11 variants of upcoming iPhones which are still covered in a cloak of mystery even after tonnes of speculations and leaks have made headlines for a few weeks now.

Per NDTV Gadgets, three 11 identifiers or model numbers are A2111, A2160, A2161, A2215, A2216, A2217, A2218, A2219, A2220, A2221, and A2223. With that being said, the first identifiers have been marked as for the successor of iPhone XR that was launched last year as a ‘Lite’ version to the uber-expensive iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. Furthermore, other identifiers are reportedly for both iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max. With that being said, 2019 iPhones will sport the upcoming Apple A13 SoC along with soon-to-be-introduced iOS 13 out-of-the-box where the new OS will be introduced at the WWDC 2019 that’s happening in the first week of June 2019.

NDTV Gadgets suggest since Apple uses a different identifier for the same product sold in different markets with different configurations, these identifiers could be used as the same although the Cupertino-based tech juggernaut hasn’t actually confirmed any bit of data rendered around upcoming 2019 iPhones.

Leaks and renders regarding 2019 iPhones have made it clear that there are at least three models to launch that is a successor to 2018 iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max where the last two will be named as iPhone XI or 11 and iPhone 11 Max. The XR successor will have a dual camera setup arranged in a new & unique square camera hump while the high-end iPhone 11 and 11 Max will get a triple camera set up at the back.

Furthermore, the iOS 13 that comes out-of-the-box with 2019 iPhones sports plenty of features including a system-wide Dark Mode, improved Siri, Notification snoozing, support to swipe keyboard for iPad, and more. On the other hand, although 2019 iPhones will not have 5G support, Apple is trying to get the technology integrated with iPhones by next year i.e. in 2020.
