Google Pixel 10 Series is officially out now. After much anticipation and countless Pixel 10 series leaks, the series is finally here, and Jimmy Fallon did the unveiling. We got our hands on Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold powered by Tensor G5 SoC, and yes, the impeccable AI capabilities that come on-board Pixels. Here’s our take on the Pixel 10 series that takes you across everything you need to know right now.

Google Pixel 10 series launched officially: Not your average Joe

Well, let’s start with the vanilla model first. The Google Pixel 10 has a 6.3” FHD+ OLED Super Actua display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 3,000 nits of peak brightness. A Corning Glass Victus 2 protects it from shattering and drops, and the same is applied to the back panel making Pixel 10 phones sturdy as a stone.

The series comes with Tensor G5 SoC, the same across the board, paired with Titan M2 security chipset, 256GB of storage at the minimum, and 12GB of RAM to begin with. There’s Android 16 on-board alongside seven years of OS upgrades, so yes, you are pretty much covered.

On the optics, we have a 48MP primary shooter, a 10.8MP telephoto with 5x zoom, and for the first time, a third 13MP ultrawide shooter sits at the back. The front, as usual, is a 10.5MP shooter. There’s a 4,970mAh battery under the hood plus 30W fast charging, 15W Qi2 wireless support, an in-display fingerprint scanner, an eSIM support, and a vapor cooling chamber for superior thermal management. Of course, Pixel 10 is still an entry-level phone, so you can’t expect much with the specs compared to the Pro series that we will get to next.

Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL Specs

Pixel 10 Pro gets the same size of display as Pixel 10 but with a higher 1,280×2,856 pixels resolution, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL takes it one notch up with a 6.8” panel and a resolution of 1,344×2,992 pixels. Both of these devices use an LTPO panel, up to 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. Again, Victus 2 protects both the front and back of the phones so that you don’t have to worry too much. The phone maxes at 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage.

On the optics front, both Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL sport a 50MP primary, 48MP 5x telephoto secondary, and a 48MP ultrawide shooter. As you can tell, these models still use three-cam setup at the back while the Pixel 10 gained a third one recently. The front selfie cam bears a humongous 42MP camera sensor.

Under the hood, Pixel 10 Pro draws power from a 4,870mAh battery, slightly smaller than Pixel 10, while the Pro XL gets a beefier 5,200mAh battery, the biggest of all four, including Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Plus, we have 45W wired and 25W wireless charging support to juice these devices pretty fast.

I would be wrong if I didn’t mention any AI features on-board the Pixel 10 series because Google has made its name around it and for good reasons. Have you ever used Pixel’s cameras? You will be blown away.

Coming to the Pixel 10 lineup, it brings a feature called “Magic Cue” that takes cues from what you are doing and pulls relevant suggestions. The Live Translate feature is live on phone calls now. Overall, I would say Pixel 10 is an AI supremo, a daily driver you must have.

Google Pixel 10 series pricing

Well, when it comes to the pricing, there’s not much of a surprise. We already saw European, North American, and even Indian pricing of the series, so we were completely unfathomable knowing the pricing, and here’s how it all pans out.

Pixel 10 starts at 256GB for $899 or INR 79,999/-. There’s a 128GB variant as well although not available in India. Thus, I have been saying this for a while that Google has actually made the series a bit pricier upon entry. Moving on, we have the Pixel 10 Pro with 256GB at $1,099 (or INR 1,09,999) while the higher 512GB trim will cost you around $1,219, and then, the top-of-the-line 1TB trim will set you back at $1,449. You have Indigo, Frost, Lemongrass, and Obsidian colorways to choose from.

If you wish to go bigger with a Pixel 10 Pro XL, you are going to pay a bit more. That’s $1,119 for the entry-level 256GB, or in India, it will cost you INR 1,24,999/-. The pricing for 512GB trims is $1,319, and finally, we have the Pro XL with 1TB storage at $1,549. Exactly why Google chose random pricing instead of going for a .49 or a .99 suffix remains a question to be pondered.

When it comes to the color options, Google has added a Porcelain variant on the Pro as well, should you want to buy the white-washed one. The entire Google Pixel 10 Series is available in India via Flipkart.
