- Vivo X300 Ultra global launch is imminent as the phone appears on Europe's EEC certification.
- This will be a noble launch given the Ultras are usually reserved for Chinese launch only.
- Vivo X300 Ultra will debut in China in the coming quarter and we could see the global launch happening soon after.
The Vivo X300 Ultra global launch appears to be just around the corner. The upcoming flagship smartphone has reportedly been spotted on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) certification database, a key regulatory step for devices that are expected to be sold in European markets. Such listings often indicate that a commercial launch is approaching.
The development was first highlighted by tipster Anvin on X (formerly Twitter). According to the listing, a Vivo smartphone with the model number V2562 has appeared on the EEC website. While the certification itself does not directly name the device, earlier IMEI database records link this model number to the Vivo X300 Ultra, reinforcing the likelihood that Vivo is preparing the phone for global release.
Vivo X300 Ultra global launch is getting closer!
The Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to arrive after the launch of the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro, which debuted in China a few weeks ago. Those models focus on premium performance, but the Ultra variant is designed to sit at the top of the lineup.
If Vivo follows its usual release pattern, the X300 Ultra could launch in China first, followed shortly by a global release. The recent certification signals the possibility that European markets could be included in that expansion.
Expected specifications
The certification doesn’t mention a lot; however, it does put the imminent launch in the limelight. Vivo X300 Ultra has long been in rumors, claiming various specs such as the 7,000mAh battery coupled with 100W wired charging.
This comes from a previous certification in China, but we are hoping the Vivo X300 Ultra global will carry similar specs. The battery specs should help users leave their battery anxiety behind.
The phone brings a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, a major leap from Dimensity flagship SoCs on the X300 siblings. There’s a 50MP selfie plus a triple rear camera consisting of a 200MP Sony IMX09E primary lens, 200MP periscope telephoto Sony IMX09A, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera setup.
If these specifications make it to the global model unchanged, the Vivo X300 Ultra could stand out with its combination of battery capacity, fast charging, and advanced camera hardware.
Possible launch timeline
Current information suggests that the Vivo X300 Ultra could see a global launch between January and March, though exact dates remain unconfirmed. Traditionally, Vivo introduces its flagship devices in China first, with international availability following a few weeks later.
