OnePlus has started teasing the arrival of its next-generation Nord smartphone, the OnePlus Nord 6. The company recently shared a teaser carrying the message “Entering the Nord era soon,” hinting that the device could launch in the near future.
An official microsite for the smartphone has also appeared on Amazon India, confirming that the device will be available through the platform once it launches in the country.
Amazon teaser offers a glimpse of the design
In addition to the teaser, the Amazon microsite reveals a few early design details of the upcoming Nord device. Based on the teaser image, the phone appears to feature volume buttons on the right side, along with rounded edges and a circular camera sensor cutout on the rear.
These visual hints have led to speculation that the device could be closely related to the OnePlus Turbo 6. However, OnePlus has not confirmed any connection between the two devices.
Possible launch timeline
Although OnePlus has not announced an official launch date yet, well-known tipster Yogesh Brar claims that the Nord 6 may debut in early April in India.
Brar also suggested that the smartphone could be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Turbo 6. If accurate, the Nord 6 could arrive with similar hardware while being marketed under the Nord lineup for the Indian market. The tipster also indicated that the new model may come with a higher price compared to previous Nord devices.
Expected specifications
Another tipster, Sanju Choudhary, has shared a list of specifications that are believed to match those of the OnePlus Turbo 6.
According to the leak, the OnePlus Nord 6 could feature a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, paired with UFS 4.1 storage.
One of the most notable rumored features is a 9,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging, which would be unusually large for a smartphone in this segment.
For photography, the phone is tipped to include a 50MP primary rear camera accompanied by an 8MP secondary sensor. Reports also suggest that the Nord 6 could offer a better front-facing camera than the Turbo 6.
The device is expected to include IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance and run OxygenOS 16, OnePlus’ Android-based operating system.
Expected pricing and Nord CE 6 tagging rumor
While the official pricing remains unknown, early reports suggest the OnePlus Nord 6 could launch above ₹35,000 in India, placing it slightly higher than some previous Nord series models.
