With Apple launching its much awaited iPhone 8 and 8 plus or shall I say iPhone 7s. Sorry, jokes aside, iPhone X is just around the corner and ready to go out on sale. After all the hard earned money you’ve spent on these devices you would want to keep your iPhone safe and sound.
iPhone is costlier in India compared to that of the markets in the US and some other countries, and even though we pay a lot more, Apple doesn’t offer an international warranty on the iPhones. Still, we couldn’t keep our hands off the iPhone, coz we love it so much. The bad news just turned good, Apple lovers you are in for a treat. The largest smartphone making company has now announced that it will be giving warranty for iPhones in India as well. Which practically means that if you purchase an unlocked iPhones from the US or any other country it will still hold the one year warranty which is provided by Apple itself.
Before, Apple did not provide its users with warranty in India on unlocked iPhones, and hence the user had to break their piggy bank once again in case of any issue that may occur to his/her device. But now that’s changed since the users from India can avail the warranty on iPhones which are purchased from any country. The warranty only stands for the iPhones which are unlocked. The carrier-locked iPhones do not come under the terms and even if you manage to unlock it with methods which are unofficial.
This is a very great opportunity for people who are planning to hop onto the pre-order sales of the long-awaited and upcoming iPhone X(Not ‘x’, 10), and also if you are set to buy the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus. This change in terms and services will be much appreciated by the consumers.
The iPhone X will be available for pre-orders starting from October 27th.
