Apple iPhone 11 series is already up for pre-orders where many models and their trims have started closing up due to upsurge in units being pre-ordered taking the date for shipping till October 3 and beyond for some customers. On the other hand, Android smartphone maker Huawei, the Chinese giant which overtook Apple in terms of units shipped in Q4 2018 and continued to dominate till date, is slated to launch a controversial smartphone i.e. it’s Mate 30 series that will make it official on September 19.

Keeping the controversies aside as we will tackle it in the latter part, leakster Evan Blass recently posted a string of images of the trio Mate 30 series in its full glory.

Speaking about Huawei Mate 30 Lite, it is a toned-down variant of the flagship phone which doesn’t get everything from the standard Mate 30. It will have a punch-hole front camera setup similar to Samsung Galaxy M40 and will have considerably thicker bezels around the edges. The rear shows a squarish camera setup with quad-cameras aligned in a 2×2 formation along with a LED flash and a rear-mounted FPS flanked with it.

Huawei Mate 30 will be the most advanced smartphone as it will share most of its traits with the Mate 30 Pro. It will run on Kirin 990 5G SoC which is based on 7nm EUV process and will support dual-band 4G and 5G networks. It will have an in-display fingerprint sensor, a high-end high-quality curved AMOLED display, dual front and quad-camera setup at the back arranged in a circular camera bump. The USP of Mate 30 series will be the uber elegant Huawei Mate 30 Pro that will push the flagship specifications to its limit as it has Kirin 990 5G SoC and will feature the most curved around the edges display called waterfall display. It is so curved that Huawei had to replace volume rockers onto the screen while the power button stays as it is. The rear camera setup will have two 40MP sensors flanked by two other sensors arranged in 2x2 formation within a circular bump while the circumference of the ring has been etched to give it a premium look and feel. Huawei Mate 30 / Pro will have have second-gen 3D facial recognition system thanks to the dual camera setup at the front. Finally, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro Porsche Design will no doubt be the most artistic and advanced in terms of design although the specs will remain the same. We do have a leaked render for Mate 30 Pro PD although the actual phone could have a slightly different texture. This brings a lot of gossip around the upcoming Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, Mate 30 Lite, and Mate 30 Pro Porsche Design thanks to the hubbub going on between China and the US. This has pushed to such an extreme that Huawei will launch the Mate 30 series with Google Android OS but will be striped off any Google apps so there’s no YouTube or Maps or Gmail, etc. This year, we will get to see three Huawe Mate 30 series smartphones i.e. an affordable Mate 30 Lite and then, Mate 30 and 30 Pro, and finally, a Porsche designed Mate 30 Pro. Last year, Huawei introduced us with 7nm chipset making it the first in Android smartphones and this year, it will release with 7nm EUV Kirin 990 SoC which has both 4G and 5G variants. Apple released A13 Bionic chip manufactured using the same tec with its iPhone 11 series but it lacks 5G modem so Huawei gets an edge over it so far.
