We have seen how Apple has been making moves with the launch of Macbook Air, Macbook Pro, new Mac Mini as well as other products. However, the product that everyone gets excited about are the new iPhones that come during the fall season every year. This excitement is because while the Macbooks and the iPad will be used by a large number of people, their usage is still limited to a particular section. But the iPhones are used by almost everyone who owns a Mac or an iPad so that lineup of product becomes particularly important.
Talking about the iPhones, we know that the successor to iPhone 11 series which will be the iPhone 12 series is said to have four new models later this year. As far as the iPhone 12 series is concerned, we will have a 5.4-inch variant, a 6.1-inch variant whereas the iPhone 12 Pro series will have a 6.1-inch variant and a 6.7-inch variant.
This revelation comes from Apple leaker Jon Prosser who has been prolific recently when it comes to leaking about the Cupertino-based company. Prosser has literally revealed everything there is to know about the new iPhone 12 series right now. He has confirmed that the iPhone 12 series will start at $650 and go up to $850. One addition that is new here is the existence of iPhone 12 Max which will start at $750.
Jon Prosser says that while all the iPhones will have an OLED panel, iPhone 12 series will have OLED displays from BOE whereas the iPhone 12 Pro series will have OLED panels from Samsung. This is also because the iPhone 12 Pro series will have ProMotion display with a 120Hz refresh rate named as Super Retina XDR.
As far as the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Max phones are concerned, they will have 4GB RAM and up to 256GB storage with 128GB being the base for all the devices. On the other hand, the iPhone 12 Pro series will have 6GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage.
We already know that the iPhone 12 series will have the same dual cameras as we saw on the iPhone 11 series and the setup will remain the same. But the iPhone 12 Pro series will have triple cameras and a LiDAR sensor. The iPhone 12 Pro will start at $999 and go up to $1299 depending on the storage variants. As for the iPhone 12 Pro Max, the device will start at $1099 and it will go up to $1399.
Also worth noting is that the iPhone 12 series will have an Aluminium build while the iPhone 12 Pro series will have Stainless Steel build. It is known that the iPhone 12 series will have a different design with flat edges which will look similar to the iPhone 4 series from past.
This means that everything we need to know regarding the iPhone 12 series has been leaked already and we believe that most of these leaks are true based on Jon Prosser’s past records so we only have to see if there is no delay in Apple’s plans and the iPhone’s launch takes place during fall this year as well.
