Day 1 was good, but CES 2021 Day 2 proved more exciting with the futuristic approach of various brands. Like as you have already read the title, Day 2 had a few things like the flying car, smart mask, gaming chair with a screen, display on the windshield, which made the tech show a sneak peek of the future which we used to see in the Sci-Fi movies.
Without further ado, let us go through the major highlights of CES 2021 Day 2 from brands like General Motor, Razer, Panasonic, Sony, etc for their advance and improved piece of tech.
CES 2021 Day 2 Major Highlights
GM at CES 2021
GM Showcases Flying Cars
Flying Cars! Yeah, that is like a dream but soon, I mean in a few couples of years, we will actually be able to experience those. GM aka General Motors showcased the concept of flying cars with the sitting capability of one passenger and will be fully autonomous. We have seen many Sci-Fi movies where they showed us flying cars, but in this case, we will not drive them, instead, we will be a passenger and the car will be flying by its own like the Tesla Autopilot mode.
But don’t get excited as it merely a concept and will take a lot of work and time to experience something like that. General Motor is calling it the eVTOL, or (electric) Verticle TakeOff and Landing droid. “We’re preparing for a world where advances in electric and autonomous technology make personal air travel possible,” said GM design chief Michael Simcoe.
Razer at CES 2021
Razer Announces Smart Mask
We know Razer as a brand that makes gaming gears like laptops, desktops, keyboards, mouse, etc, but Razer making a mask, it is quite hard to digest. Since Razer is making it, we can expect a pinch of gaming spices in it, right? And you are right here, Razer’s new Project Hazel, i.e., a smart mask that has RGB lighting and a voice amplifier, so which using it you don’t face any complication while talking.
And since it a mask, so contains all the normal functions of a mask as well, like Surgical N95 Respirator, Active Ventilation, and Auto Sterilization Function which kills bacteria and viruses as the mask charges. It is a beautiful looking mask made up of scratch-resistant and waterproof recycled plastic. And another fun thing about this mask is that it is transparent with voice projection.
Razer Unveils Gaming Chair with Screen
This will be one of the best announcements for a gamer. The comfortable chair with a curved gaming monitor can ease your gaming pressure. Razer unveiled the Project Brooklyn large gaming chair with a screen that folds and rotates into the back of the chair itself. Not only on-game pressure but also solves the problem of the gaming desk and chair. Right now, it is a concept but according to Razer, we can expect this beast’s working prototype in the upcoming months, after that in a few more months the actual product.
- 180-degrees viewing angle,
- Transparent OLED display,
- Haptic vibration,
- RGB lighting around the edges,
- and much more

These days drones have become a major necessity while shooting air view shots, and more-n-more people are attracting towards the whole drone environment. Sony is already a major player in the cameras market, now those cameras and Sony’s tech will completely change the drone videography levels.
The Airpeak drone features a front-facing camera and a distance sensor, which with the facility of AI will (presumably) be used for target tracking and obstacle avoidance. Sony is basically keeping its cards on the brink of its vest; we don’t even have details on range and flight time yet.
Panasonic at CES 2021
Panasonic Automotive Showcases Display for Windshield
We already have seen a few vehicles with a digital display on the windshield, but they were limited to a few options but today on CES 2021 Day 2, Panasonic Automotive showcased their version of Head-up displays (HUDs) on the windshield with a ton of useful options.
Panasonic Automotive showed off its 4K-resolution AR HUD, which covers how the larger section of the windshield and mixes two-dimensional information like vehicle speed, regulation, and fuel range in the near-field view with three-dimensional overlays of navigation directions within the far-field view, which appear to be cast spatially onto the road ahead.
Panasonic Unveils Micro Camera
Panasonic also unveiled the new BGH1 Micro Four Thirds camera and they also claimed it to be “the first micro four-thirds camera approved by Netflix.” This is actually in the competition of the GoPros which owns a good amount of market share in the on-the-go camera segment.
If we compare it to the popular and expensive Red cameras then we can say that it is cheap, small, and elegant. Specifications of the BGH1 includes 10-bit 4:2:0 4K/60p as well as 10-bit 4:2:2 4K video support and also gamma curves like BR.2100, V-Log L, and HLG. The product comes with a price tag of $2000.
