Nothing teased a cryptic post on X (formerly Twitter) that could’ve been either CMF Phone 1 or Nothing Phone (3). As the latter is due only next year, sources reveal it was indeed CMF Phone 1 in line to arrive early next month. Tipster Yogesh Brar shared the box price and some other details regarding the upcoming device.
CMF Phone 1 Price in India Leaked
Courtesy of Brar, we now know that the CMF Phone 1 is priced at INR 19,999/- as listed on its box price. It hints that the actual phone would be priced lower such as INR 18,000/- without the offer and INR 17,000/- with certain discounts.
We have been told by trusted sources that CMF Phone 1 is not an entirely new phone but rather a rebranded version of Nothing Phone 2a that indeed was launched early this year at INR 23,999/-.
CMF Phone 1 Specifications (Rumored)
Turns out the phone has already been listed on its dedicated microsite on Flipkart, India’s major ecommerce platform. It will be marketed by Nothing’s sub-brand CMF.
Speaking about the specs, CMF Phone 1 is speculated to arrive with a Dimensity 7300 SoC under the hood. There’s 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB variants available with the same along with a microSD card slot for further expansion should you want it.
It will sport a 6.67” FHD+ OLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and will have thick bezels on the sides. It will have a 16MP front and a 50MP plus auxiliary dual camera setup at the back given the price tag. Note that other sources do mention a 50MP ultrawide snapper onboard CMF Phone 1 instead of an auxiliary shooter, although we will have to wait to get any further confirmation. The rear assembly will be vertically stacked in a neat iPhone X-like aligned pill-shaped camera bump.

On the battery end, we have a 5,000mAh battery paired with a 33W charging tech as per the sources. This dwarfs CMF Phone 1 against Nothing Phone 2a which comes with a 45W fast charging tech.
Unfortunately, you won’t get the glyph interface that made Nothing super popular, especially around Gen Z and millennials. Instead, the back panel onboard CMF Phone 1 has a screw-like element on the side, possibly hinting that the panel can be removed at will.
