We are just on the verge of getting the new Nexus devices, but it seems that new rumors will keep on flowing all over the internet till these devices get launched on Tuesday, mid-day. Till then, enjoy the full specification leak of the Nexus 5X along with some images which appear to be highlighting the features, directly from the Google Play Store.
Detailed Nexus 5X specs
Starting with the OS, the Nexus 5X will arrive with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, which is expect as it is a Nexus device after all. The display has a size of 5.2 inches with Full HD resolution of 1920x1080p at 421 PPI covering up with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to prevent from scratches. It is also said to support a fingerprint and smudge resistant oleophobic coating on the display.
Coming to the camera, the device will feature a 12.3 Mega-pixel sensor (f/2.0 aperture) with 1.55µm pixels to help with light sensitivity. It will support 4k 3840x2160p recording and also comes with laser auto focus and a dual tone LED flash. The front camera is a 5 MP shooter with 1.4µm pixels and an aperture of f/2.2.
Under the hood the device is running the Snapdragon 808 (64 bit) chipset consisting of 6 cores running at a clock speed of 2.0 GHz coupled with Adreno 418 GPU for handling the graphics part. It will feature 2 GB RAM and come in 16/32 GB of storage options
Overall most of the specs match up with the rumors of the devices and the leaks we had talked about earlier. Moreover, the most disappointment part is that this device comes with only 2 giga-bytes of RAM and a mid-range chipset.
