The legendary iPhone 8 or the iPhone X is supposed to debut alongside the iPhone 7S or 7S Plus which are scheduled to launch later this year. It’s the iPhone’s 10th anniversary, making it natural for Apple to work on a radically redesigned iPhone X that packs the best. One of those best is the probable Apple A11 chipset, widely rumored to empower any performance master from this year. A few details about the same have surfaced online.
Coming through @UniverseIce or Ice Universe on Twitter, this leak suggests that upcoming iPhone powering chipset will be clocked at 3.0GHz and will feature a new technology termed as “Heterogenous Multi-Processing (HMP)”, which, inferable from the name, will soothe and augment the multi-processing on the iPhone. The leaker Ice Universe has been quite sketchy and unreliable, however, legitimate much more times than that.

As of now, all we can do is to wait for the official announcement and take the leaks with a pinch of salt.
