Good news for Xiaomi fans in India as the Chinese tech giant has released two new products in India. I am talking about the recently launched RedmiBook 15 Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition that brings Intel’s TigerLake 11th-gen chipsets along with superfast RAM, storage, and more. Here’s everything you need to know about the incoming laptops.

Xiaomi RedmiBook 15 Pro

The latest in the series and a different model than the Chinese RedmiBook 15 Pro, the Indian variant of RedmiBook 15 Pro packs in a 15.6-inch FHD display. With a 1.8 kg weight and 19.9mm thickness, the 15 Pro is made up of polycarbonate with a metallic finish making it light, thin, and style.

RedmiBook 15 Pro is integrated with Intel 11th-Gen TigerLake Core i5-11300H chipset manufactured on a 10nm SuperFin node with a TDP of up to 35W. The chipset has 4 cores, 8 threads, and a 3.1GHz of base frequency while its max turbo frequency yanks it up to 4.4GHz. The laptop is embedded with Nvidia MX330-like Intel Xe graphics with 80 execution units for sheer graphics processing on the laptop.

Moving on, the laptop is paired with 512GB NVMe SSD and 8GB DDR4 RAM clocked at a whopping 3,200 MHz. The NVMe SSD mentioned above has been rated to have a wake-up time of 2 seconds and a full boot in just 12 seconds.

Talking about the ports, Xiaomi RedmiBook 15 Pro is furnished with a full-sized HDMI port, 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a gigabit Ethernet port, an SD card reader, a USB-A 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm combo jack on its left and right sides. The device offers 2×2 Wi-FI 5 support along with Bluetooth v5.0. It uses a QWERTY keyboard with a scissor mechanism along with a multi-touch trackpad.

You get a 720p webcam with RedmiBook 15 Pro along with stereo microphones and 2W stereo speakers with DTS.

About the software, the RedmiBook 15 Pro runs on Windows 10 Home out-of-the-box along with MS Office Home and Student available at the user’s disposal. The laptop is compatible with Windows 11 as well that will arrive free of cost on 15 Pro once it is available.

About the pricing, Xiaomi has listed RedmiBook 15 Pro at INR 49,999/- for its sole variant available via Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores. The laptop will be available for sale on August 6.

Xiaomi has released an e-Learning Edition of RedmiBook as well with the same 15.6-inch FHD display although at a cheaper price tag thanks to some minor cutbacks.

The laptop has a slightly downgraded i3-1115G4 11th Gen Intel TigerLake SoC with 2 cores and 4 threads and a TDP of up to 28W. It also arrives with a 4.1GHz of max turbo frequency.

Moving on, you get 8GB DDR4 RAM with both 256GB SATA SSD and a 512GB NVMe SSD available at the price tag mentioned below.

The majority of other specifications on the e-Learning Edition are almost the same as RedmiBook 15 Pro.

When it comes to pricing, the e-Learning Edition with 256GB SATA SSD is available at Rs 41,999/- while the 512GB NVMe SSD variant is up for grab at Rs 44,999/- from August 6 onwards available through Flipkart, Mi Home stores, and Mi.com.
