Xiaomi is a popular Chinese smartphone brand in India. Xiaomi introduce India and other parts of the world with its subsidiary ‘Pocophone’ a few weeks ago and the first smartphone from the subsidiary dubbed as Pocophone F1 or just Poco F1 was launched on August 22 in India on Flipkart followed by announcement for its international launch in 60 other markets that will see Pocophone F1 soon that came out on Monday (August 27) while many others countries have already seen it.

Pocophone F1 was launched in India on Flipkart as a flash sale and guess what, it went live at 12 PM and just after five minutes in, Poco sold units worth INR 200 crore or 2 Billion INR which is phenomenal and marks the fastest flash sale ever on Flipkart. Although both Poco and Flipkart hasn’t provided the number of units sold, we could confer that assuming that all the users purchased the most expensive model, it would be a total of 68,965 units in five minutes while assuming that Flipkart sold all the base models, a total of 100,000 units sold but since we do not have the exact count, we decided to provide a range wherein the total units sold would be.

Pocophone F1 garnered huge acclaim as it packs some of the best-in-class features taken from industry leaders such as the maximum battery capacity, Snapdragon 845 processor, and all other components all bundled in a price of a budget smartphone such as Honor Play which goes for an equivalent price for INR 19,999 while Pocophone 64GB/4GB model goes for INR 20,999 which is not more considering the endless spec sheet that the latter proposes compared to the budget specs possessed by the former.

Pocophone F1 will go for its second round of flash sale in India on Flipkart on September 5. It will be available in other countries that were listed during its global event which unfortunately discounts countries such as Turkey, the United States, Canada, etc.
