Just recently, there has been a specific-leaked render image that revived many discussions about a possible camera mechanism upgrade on Samsung’s highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 Leak Reveal the Camera Detail Design
While the primary camera module on the Z Fold 5 has a relatively flat design with the lenses aligned horizontally, this new image shared by Ice Universe indicates a new circular camera bump with lenses aligned vertically.
There were previous speculations that caused many fans to be let down since there were rumors that the Z Fold 6 may use the same camera structure and features as the previous version.
Currently, the main sensing of this model is 50Mp, an ultra-wide-angle sensor with 12Mp, and a 3X telephoto with 10Mp. This set of configurations seemed to be rather disappointing compared to other flagship models that are to be released in 2024.
However, the leak has suggested quite several changes that go beyond the shell of the original idea. The redesigned camera module makes one think that the South Korean tech giant had big plans regarding the camera module hardware. For Samsung not to boost the camera, it cannot be expected for the company to develop a new design and leave out the improvement of the same.
Such updates build more anticipation on the Z Fold 6. Prior leaked renders suggested a smaller bend on the foldable screen than the Z Fold 5 but expect some degree of flex somewhere. Worth saying is that the phone is expected to come with the potent Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, it indeed revealed by the Geekbench listing.
Spec-wise, there are early rumors that the Z Fold 6 will have a wider outer display but with a boxier design overall. Windows leaks also indicate that the overall build may be thinner and lighter, which would add more value to the product. But, the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s battery might stay the same and most of the references indicate having a 4,400mAh battery and supporting 25W fast charging similar to the Z Fold 5.
