Last thing we heard from the Google Glass after a long time was Google, getting the rights on a patent for a glass using holograms. Before that, not much information surfaced about it, which made many people forget about it. Word came up, that there was work a new version, the Google Glass Enterprise Edition, featuring a larger prism-display and, what used to be a major flaw, improved batterie time. That rumor might turn out to be true, because the FCC published their report on the Enterprise Edition.
The Google Glass Enterprise Edition
From the looks of it, not much seems to have changed, compared to its predecessor, the Explorer Edition. The most noticeable difference is a hinge to fold it. Major changes to the hardware are the bigger display, implroved wireless connectivity – Wi-Fi and Bluetooth – and the Intel Atom processor with better heat control. Other mentionable things would be, the new front light and the power button, being moved to the back. If the Enteprise Edition will be set on the open market, is doubtable. Google, still not publishing an official statement, could support that theorie.
