October 4, you need to mark this day as Google will showcase its next-gen Google Pixel 8 series in a mega event as announced by its Made by Google official Twitter handle. Google is tagging the upcoming devices as #BestPhonesForever.
The Google Pixel 8 series succeeded the Pixel 7 series which made its debut in October 2022. The two models – Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, will have stunning new designs based on the countless leaks that we have seen so far. Of course, we will get our hands on a faster chipset dubbed as ‘Google Tensor G2’ but there’s more.
The launch update comes a day after Apple made its Wonderlust Apple Event announcement for the iPhone 15 series making its debut on September 12. The October 4 event will be held in-person in New York (US) starting at 10 AM local time on October 4.
Big fall launches are stressful, but Pixel helps its friend stay cool as a cucumber. #BestPhonesForever

We just spotted a mesmerizing Porcelain White colorway on the Pixel 8 Pro that looks epic. Albeit the leak was tagged by mistake, it could be something Google is doing to turn eyes away from the September 12 Apple event. Talking about the leaked colorway, it could be one of a few available, however, we will have to wait for the Pixel 8 series to arrive to get the final say.
As usual, Google will be launching two Pixel 8 phones aka Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, Of course, there are rumors around a more powerful Pixel 8 and Pixel 8A where the latter is likely launching later next year. We aren’t aware that the teased powerful Pixel 8 is up for grabs at the October 4 event.
The invite doesn’t mention any other hardware except the Pixel 8 series. There’s a possibility that Fitbit and Nest will make it through although that remains to be seen.
