HONOR has officially confirmed the HONOR Magic V Flip2 launch date for August 21 in China. The new model follows last year’s Magic V Flip and is expected to bring significant upgrades in design, imaging, and battery performance.
Fashion collaboration with Professor Jimmy Choo
Continuing its partnership with internationally renowned fashion designer Professor Jimmy Choo, HONOR has infused the Magic V Flip2 with a high-fashion aesthetic. According to the company, the phone’s design draws inspiration from a “crystal dream,” featuring scattered star-like patterns over a deep blue finish. The design also incorporates the signature Parisian hobnail pattern from previous HONOR foldables, which the brand says merges luxury craftsmanship with amazing technology.

Camera design and expected upgrades
The Magic V Flip2 keeps its metal frame but introduces a redesigned camera setup. Instead of one large and one small lens like its predecessor, it now features two identical 50MP sensors, an upgrade from the earlier 50MP + 12MP combination.
Early reports indicate better image processing and longer battery life, but HONOR has not shared full specifications yet. More information should be available closer to launch.
