HONOR has officially confirmed the HONOR X9C 5G India launch for July 7, 2025. This premium mid-range smartphone will be offered in two colors: Titanium Black and Jade Cyan, and come in a single variant with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. It will be available exclusively on Amazon.in starting July 12, just in time for the Amazon Prime Day Sale.
Display and design
HONOR X9C 5G features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2700 × 1224), a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10 support. It also includes advanced features like 3840Hz PWM dimming, low blue light at the hardware level, and a peak brightness of 4000 nits for clear, eye-friendly viewing. The screen supports 10-bit color, showing over 10.7 billion colors, and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color range for rich and accurate visuals.
The phone is rated IP65 for dust and water resistance and features a sleek 7.98 mm profile, weighing just 189 grams. It will be available in two different colors, Titanium Black and Jade Cyan.
Performance and software
Under the hood, the HONOR X9C 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 4 nm chipset, built with an octa-core CPU (4x Cortex-A78 at 2.2GHz + 4x Cortex-A55 at 1.8GHz) and an Adreno 710 GPU. It comes equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, with no mention of expandable memory. The device runs MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15.
Camera capabilities
The smartphone boasts a triple rear camera setup, led by a 108MP primary sensor (Samsung HM6) with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization). It is accompanied by a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies and video calls, the HONOR X9C 5G houses a 16MP front-facing camera with an f/2.45 aperture.
