The Huawei MatePad Pro 11 is finally here and Huawei is marketing it as the thinnest and lightest 11-inch tablet out there. The tab is 449 grams in weight while getting a thickness of 5.9mm which is the same as iPad Pro 11 2021 although the weight with the said size is unbeatable. Here’s complete coverage on the Huawei MatePad Pro 11 that you would love to know.
Huawei MatePad Pro 11 Specifications
Huawei MatePad Pro 11 brings onboard an 11-inch 120Hz OLED 10-bit panel with a 2560×1600 pixels resolution, 274PPI, and 16:10 aspect ratio. According to Huawei, MatePad Pro 11 is the first tab to get certified by TUV Rheinland’s Care Display 3.0. It has a 1,440Gz high-frequency PWN dimming onboard.
Moving on, we have a Snapdragon chipset onboard. However, Huawei MatePad Pro 11 uses two chipsets i.e. a Snapdragon 888 5nm SoC and a Snapdragon 870 7nm SoC with a tad bit of differences between the two. The tab uses a 3D graphene and vapor chamber that makes the tab cool down considerably. There’s 8GB or 12GB RAM with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of internal storage. There’s Bluetooth v5.2 with LDAC and AAC, 4G connectivity (optional), Wi-FI 6, and USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 connectivity among others.
Huawei MatePad Pro 11 uses a six-speaker setup consisting of two tweeters and four woofers that allows it to achieve cinematic sound quality. It is backed with Huawei SOUND Enhancement thanks to the ultra-bass algorithm and stereo vibe algorithm that boosts its sound performance. The tab runs on HarmonyOS 3.0 from Huawei which brings onboard some clever and neat improvements over the predecessors. There’s redesigned interface for multitasking, and a new feature called Card Folder which stacks widgets and more.
The tab uses a single battery capacity of 8,300mAh which is similar to what Realme Pad X India has brought onboard. It can provide 11.5 hours of local video playback which is huge. Huawei MatePad Pro 11 with 888 SoC uses a 66W SuperCharge tech although you get a 40W charging brick. On the other hand, the 870 variant packs in 40W charging tech but ships with a 22.5W adapter only. It means you can unlock the higher charging speeds but with a separate purchase.
About the optics, we have a dual camera onboard MatePad Pro 11. It comprises a 13MP model plus an 8MP ultrawide model and there’s a 16MP front-facing selfie camera. The rear cam setup is arranged in the iconic dome rig design from the P50 series.
There are some accessories launched alongside the Huawei MatePad Pro 11. The smart keyboard is one of the accessories which has a 1.5mm key travel, the kickstand can be adjusted from 120° to 165°, and has an M-Pen holder. The M-Pen now delivered a smoother writing experience among others.
