Apple iPhone 12 is expected to launch on October 13 and will bring the iPhone 12 series to the public. Apparently, a smaller 5.4” iPhone 12 which is being summoned as “iPhone 12 mini” has popped up on another leak suggesting that the phone is actually arriving at the launch event. Teased by user DuanTui on Twitter, the image shows case stickers for the upcoming iPhone 12 series and there’s a mention of a smaller iPhone 12 at 5.4” with the name “iPhone 12 mini”.

The Cupertino-based giant is scheduled to launch around four models under the iPhone 12 series. This includes a 5.4” iPhone 12 mini, a 6.1” iPhone 12 (Max), a 6.1” iPhone Pro, and a 6.7” iPhone Pro Max where the Pro variants are the top-tiers while the mini and Max are affordable variants. The leaked image shows silicone case stickers for the trio 5.4”, 6.1”, and 6.7” models adding credibility to the upcoming smaller iPhone 12 mini.

Based on the previous rumors and inputs, iPhone 12 mini will sport a 5.4” display and will be powered by Apple A14 Bionic chipset much like its siblings. It will sport a dual-camera setup at the back ditching the 12MP telephoto sensor that Pro variants will gain and there’s won’t be any LiDAR sensor on this mini variant too.

A report stated that Apple will be launching 5G iPhones this year which also means it won’t be cheaper. In fact, the iPhone 12 Mini 5G is expected to fetch a price tag of $699 while iPhone 12 Max, Pro, and Pro Max will exceed the pricing on their iPhone 11 predecessors by almost $100. To put things into context, the iPhone 12 (Max) is expected to fetch a price tag of $749, iPhone 12 Pro will be at $849, and so on although these aren’t official pricing so take it with a pinch of salt.
