It has just been a few months since the launch of Vivo iQOO 3 5G. The iQOO 3 5G was released as one of the most affordable flagship smartphones with Snapdragon 865 out of the box. But the device has its own caviars. For starters, iQOO 3 5G only featured a 60Hz display refresh rate instead of featuring the modern-day 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rates. Now, the company today released iQOO Neo 3 with a 144Hz display, Snapdragon 865, and a lot more.
The iQOO Neo 3 looks similar to the iQOO 3 5G because of the placements and the design patterns. The display is almost bezeless, thanks to the punch-hole display notch. The fingerprint sensor is side-mounted, just like the one found on the Realme X50M which was launched earlier today! The device also comes packed with a stereo speaker setup on top and bottom sides. As one would expect, the performance of this smartphone is a complete delight. The 144Hz display refresh rate can support gaming up to 144 FPS.
Additionally, Vivo’s Multi-Turbo Mode 3.0 enables a plethora of features like AI Acceleration Engine, Network Acceleration Engine, Gaming Acceleration Engine, Central Core Acceleration Engine, Thermal Acceleration Engine, and Compilation Enhanced Engine, helps in maintaining overall high performance. The 11-Layer heat dissipation system further complements the hardware.
iQOO Neo 3 5G Specifications and Features
The iQOO Neo 3 flaunts a 6.57-inch IPS LCD display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display here is almost bezeless with a 20:9 aspect ratio and in courtesy of punch-hole display notch. As mentioned earlier, the refresh rate of this display is 144Hz and support HDR10.
Underneath the hood, the device is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. Adreno 650 handles the graphic duties here. The SoC here integrates a fast prime core that clocks up to 2.84 GHz and three further fast ARM Cortex-A77 clocked at 2.42 GHz each. The iQOO Neo 3 comes with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storages. iQOO added a lot of features include Vivo Multi Turbo 3.0 which should enhance the overall performance while gaming and performing heavy renderings.
As for the cameras, the iQOO features a triple rear camera with 48 MP primary camera with f/1.79 aperture. The secondary unit is an 8 MP wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 119-degree field of view. The tertiary unit is a 2 MP macro sensor for the close-up bokeh shots. The front-facing camera is housed in a punch-hole display notch which is a 16 MP f/2.0 shooter.
The iQOO Neo 3 runs on Android 10 out of the box with iQOO UI on top. iQOO UI is based on Vivo’s FunTouch OS which is feature-rich and does support features like system-wide dark mode, expanded screenshots, One-handed mode, and other custom UI features. The fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C take an account here. All this is backed by a 4500 mAh battery which supports 44W fast charging technology.
