iQOO has just released another smartphone in its Neo6 series. The new iQOO Neo6 SE has arrived in China after quite a lot of rumors and speculations. The device is powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC and carries a base price tag of CNY 1,999.
iQOO Neo6 SE pricing and availability
The iQOO Neo6 SE takes on much cost-effective pricing when compared to its standard variant. The iQOO Neo6 SE commences at CNY 1,999 (or $299) for the same 8GB+128GB variant while the Neo6 was launched at CNY 2,799. The higher 8GB+256GB variant goes up for sale at CNY 2,299 while the largest trim at 12GB+256GB is up for sale at CNY 2,499 (or $374). For perspective, the pricing for iQOO Neo6 SE has been at least $100 lower than that of Neo6 SE.
The phone will go on its first sale in China on May 11th with three color variants i.e. gradient blue, orange, and blue. The orders have already started from today itself.
iQOO Neo6 SE Specifications
The iQOO Neo6 SE comes with a Snapdragon 870 SoC instead of packing in a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 like its vanilla variant. There’s an Android 12-powered OriginOS 12 out-of-the-box.
The device picks up a 6.62-inch AMOLED punch-hole panel boosting a 1080×2400 AMOLED panel and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device’s display lights up at a whopping 1,300 nits of peak brightness.
The front houses a 16MP selfie camera while the rear camera assembly takes on a 64Mp primary shooter paired with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 2MP portrait sensor totaling a triple rear camera setup.
iQOO Neo6 SE packs in a ginormous 4,700mAh battery under the hood with an 80W fast charging tech for charging. As with most of the offerings from Chinese smartphone makers, it remains under wraps when and if iQOO Neo6 SE will arrive outside China.
