Lenovo Z5 has teased a few months ago with a no-bezel display mimicking the Xiaomi Mi Mix. This was apparently followed by renders and the official product with ‘growing bezels’ which is in reference to the growing bezels the smartphone has shown over the course of its leaks. Lenovo launched the mid-range smartphone in China only, however, a tip received by GSMArena could mean that Lenovo could launch Lenovo Z5 outside China now.
It is no sort of verbal or written tip but comes with a teaser poster with Lenovo logo on the side the with the tagline ‘The Killer Returns’ with the date 16th October 2018 which is the same date when Huawei will unveil its much-anticipated triple camera Huawei Mate 20 series. Yes, the poster doesn’t declare which smartphone could be launched but our assumptions state that it could be either Lenovo Z5 or its high-end sibling Lenovo Z5 Pro and we have summed up the specification sheet for both the mid-range high-glossed smartphone.
Lenovo Z5 offers a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with an FHD+ display with its 402 ppi density and 83.6% screen-to-body ratio. It has a Snapdragon 636 octa-core 1.8 GHz processor accompanied with Adreno 509 GPU and powerful 6GB RAM with 64/128GB internal storage. Lenovo Z5 offers a sandwich design with front and back glass with aluminum frame. The back has a 16MP+8MP dual-tone flash dual-camera setup along with standard 8MP front cam.
Lenovo Z5 Pro hasn’t been announced yet but according to the spec sheet available on GsmArena, it features a 6.42-inch AMOLED display with 401 ppi, 1080×2340 pixels resolution. The elder version of Lenovo Z5 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core OSC with 4×2.8 GHz and 4×1.7 GHz processor and 8GB RAM bundled with 128GB. Lenovo Z5 Pro offers a 16MP+20MP rear camera mounted on its pop-up mechanism coupled with the 25MP cam in the front. Are you ready for crazy October this year?
