Moto G (2023) arrived in May 2023 around the same time as its predecessor Moto G (2022). Seems like we have something new in the works aptly dubbed Moto G (2024). The folks at MySmartPrice and tipster OnLeaks brought 5K renders for the upcoming successor, probably arriving around May next year.
Motorola Moto G 5G (2024) renders emerged online
Well, have a look at both Moto G 5G (2023) and Moto G 5G (2024) and you will notice striking differences when the rear camera assembly is concerned. Moto G 5G (2024) renders show a modernized camera bump that drops to the back panel softly and with rounded corners that look good, to be honest. Again, this is a dual camera setup probably housing a 48MP plus 2MP setup just as its predecessor. Of course, take it with a pinch of salt given the fact that we are still half a year away from its launch and there could be tremendous changes in the pipeline.
Speculations suggest the phone will have a dimension of 164.4 x 74.9 x 8.2mm which is almost the same as the last-gen model. Moto G 5G (2024) is slated to receive a 6.5” IPS LCD 120Hz panel with a 720×1600 pixels resolution which is again the same as that of its predecessor.
Moving on, we have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner clubbed with the power button. The buttons including volume rockers seem to have a subtle protrusion above the side panel. A SIM card tray is flushed on the left while the bottom gives away from a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a speaker grille. A singular mic sits flush on the top among other specs.
The render suggests a flat display panel (of course) with minimal bezels on the sides and a considerably thick chin given the price bracket. That’s probably all we know about the yet-to-launch Moto G 5G (2024) that could make its debut in May 2024 just like its last two predecessors.
