The stage is set for Motorola to unveil its new budget-range smartphone, the Motorola Moto G04, all set for its debut in India this Thursday (February 15). Flipkart India made the big date reveal after the promo page for the Moto G04 went live earlier today.

Motorola Moto G04 Specifications

Flipkart also confirmed two storage variants coming with the G04: 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage and a higher 8GB of RAM plus 128GB of storage. Also, the budget phone brings amazing color options, a stylish design much akin to its counterpart, and a Galaxy S22-ish rear camera bump.

The phone specs, as spilt by the promo page plus earlier leaks, hint at a 6.6” HD+ display with a blazing fast 90Hz refresh rate. There’s a Unisoc T606 SoC under the hood plus 4/8GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage, and we won’t be surprised if the Moto G04 is using a UFS 2.2 storage system. Luckily, the RAM can be extended up to 15GB using RAMBoost, although it’s up to you to decide if that makes any difference at all.

On the optics front, the phone uses a 16MP AI power camera at the back, while the front camera assembly uses a 5MP shooter, which is again a standard for a budget phone in this segment.

Moving on, we have a beefy 5,000mAh battery, and akin to the global variant, there’s a standard 10W charging speed but do note that we have heard about a 15W charging speed onboard as well so let’s see

There’s Dolby Atmos and a 3.5mm audio jack for the audiophiles. There’s not much known about the pricing, although if we take the reference from its European launch, we are expecting approx. INR 10,000 to INR 11,000 for the standard version. Although we could see somewhat different pricing for the Indian market.
