After the successful launch of Mi Mix 2s, Xiaomi is now working on their next smartphone under the Mix family. Xiaomi is one of the first brands that started the whole concept of a bezel-less smartphone with their exclusive Mi Mix way back in 2016. Other major players like Apple started following the same suit by introducing smartphones with minimum bezels.
The biggest challenge for the smartphone manufacturers was to minimize the top bezel and chin as much as possible. The front camera sensor is becoming a huge problem for the smartphone companies which result in phones with motor mechanical moving cameras like Vivo Nex and Oppo Find X. Even still there is no full-screen smartphone in the market until now.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 live images show no bezels at all
We now have the live images of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 which is going to bring the full-screen experience to smartphones. just like iPhone X, Xiaomi Mi Mi 3 doesn’t have any chin bezels and on top of that the top bezels are trimmed down. This results in the whole new bezel-less experience.
Speaking about cameras, the smartphone is expected to use the motorized mechanical like the one found in Vivo Nex. Just like the previous Mi Mi 2s, the earpiece on this device is crammed up on the almost negligible top bezels. It is worth noting that the live images show MIUI 9 running on this device which questions the authenticity of this leak. But this live image can be of an early engineered sample which of course would run on MIUI 9.
The impressive screen to body ratio in this smartphone will create a tension in the entire smartphone market especially for the recently launched Vivo Nex and Oppo Find X. There is still no word on the rest of the specifications of the device but we’re expecting more leaks to come our way in future.
